A cupcake and a kiss – he sure did know how to make mommy feel special upon returning home from work. Actually, he ate most of the cupcake, but he did let me have a taste.
Baking has quickly become a favorite activity of my little buddy. He is perturbed that mommy bakes by plopping pre made cookie dough onto a baking sheet and popping it into the oven. He prefers the messy measuring, mixing, flour sifting, and decorating part of baking. On the days that we take it this far, we need to protect our clothes. I ordered him this fun Valentines Day Apron and finished it off with his monogram for him to wear as we make special treats for his Valentines.
I find myself buying these Bella Bliss tees for my boys over and over again. They look classic, they are very soft, and continue to look as good as new wash after wash. This particular red striped tee has been with us for a while. It started as a nautical looking summer shirt, transformed into a great piece to layer under Christmas cardigans, and now works as a festive Valentines Day shirt.
I never know how to dress in this crazy Texas weather. I was excited for a beautiful spring like day so I could finally wear this fun pink dress that was wrapped up for me under the Christmas tree. It’s on sale and you can find it here. I love rock studs because I think they are chic but mostly because they are one of the few pairs of pumps I can walk around in all day without getting uncomfortable.
Happy First Day of February to you! I hope this month is full of love and laughter!
