Have you mailed your letter to Santa? There are only 6 more sleeps until Christmas, so if not, it’s time! I took the kiddos to deliver theirs and they had such a great time. They loved the singing bears and I was amazed by the uncanny resemblance of the bears voices to Michael Bubles Chirstmas Album.
I dressed the boys in soft blue (the color and the texture) corduroy coordinating clothing from Pixie Lily . I love the combination of the sailor and bloomer style outfit for baby brother with the apron and short set for big brother. Both are trimmed in a lovely white pique. Since I adore a precious sailor suit, I was really happy to find a corduroy set appropriate for warmer Winter days that can also be carried part way through Spring. Both of these darling little numbers are currently on sale on PixieLily.com .
Now for the shoes. Baby brother wore his monogrammed tab leather shoes we bought at Hip Hip Hooray in Dallas. To say that he is quickly growing out of them hurts my heart – first because he is growing so incredibly fast, and second, because these little shoes have been one of my favorite staples in his closet over the past year. The monogrammed tab pulls completely on and off, which means that you can interchange as many different monogram styles and colors with all of the different sizes of shoes your baby grows through. It’s like having many shoes in one! Big brother wore his trusty FootMates all white shoes. We’ve gotten these in several colors and sizes over the years because he finds them so comfortable and I find them so adorable.
When big brother was born, he was gifted the darling Reed and Barton airplane piggy bank . It sat as a beautiful accessory on his nursery shelf for a year or so until one day he decided to turn it into one of his favorite aircrafts to fly through the house. Perhaps in the future it will safely store his allowance for him in his room. If you’re looking for a beautiful gift for a precious little one, I’d recommend one of these.
