Toy Soldier Composure

Dec, 14 Boy Sets, Christmas, Florence Eiseman

Ok, the post title may have been a bit misleading.  Composure is not a word I would typically use to describe my children’s behavior during a photo session.  And, when I peruse a collection of Florence Eiseman, composed I am not!  Growing up, the month of December was always a very festive time at our house and Toy Soldiers typically played an important role in our Christmas decorations.  When I found this collection, I knew I wanted my boys to have it.

Maybe its my southern roots that made me a fan of the dark green corduroy pants with soldiers embroidered every couple of inches. The elastic waste offers ease of use and comfort for my little guy and the front pockets and fake fly front give the appearance of a more polished and classic pant.  Especially in this crazy Texas weather, layers are key in keeping my kiddos comfortable. The cotton polo embellished with an embroidered solider on the collar looks precious with this and can be mixed and matched with the kids clothes all December.  Big Brother (Mr. Independent) tends to prefer cardigan style sweaters that he can easily pull on and off him self.  The plaid detail on the solider made it extra special.

So there you have it: These little solider sets are just plain cute! Of course they are, their Florence Eiseman.
